Globe valves are valves in which the seating element is moved on and off perpendicular to the plane of the seat. Globe valves are built up to DN 300. The seat opening varies in direct proportion to the travel of the disk. Globe valves are well suited for applications requiring flow regulation. The seating load can be effectively controlled by the stem, thus giving the globe valve good sealing characteristics.
Working pressure of the medium is from the interval PN 6 to PN 40 due to the maximum clearance DN 300. The valve body is made of ductile iron, cast steel or cast corrosion-resistant steel.
