Post-Christmas return to the offices is traditionally characteristic by reflecting on the past year. Let's take a look together at the main highlight of 2024, which was undoubtedly the Valve World Expo 2024 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The metropolis, and at the same time the capital of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, located on the Rhine River, welcomed our team from Central Europe with weather that was not exactly Christmas-like, although the feeling of the approaching holidays was evident at every step. The first day was marked by preparations for the exhibition and presentation booth. The first to arrive were Ing. Samuel Cehelský from the electric sactuators sales department, along with marketing department employee Ing. Anastasia Tymoshiv. Connecting and activating the exhibited actuators, preparing spaces for clients and visitors, and arranging promotional materials may seem like a simple task at first glance, but in this case, reality differs significantly from appearances. Thanks to the diligent work of both colleagues, the Regada company's booth, with a total area of 32m², was ready for the three-day event.
Gradually, others joined the team, including Ing. Slavomír Zborovjan, the managing director of Regada Česká, along with the rest of the staff from the Czech branch. From the Slovak republic, a delegation led by the company's CEO, Barbora Čellárová, M.Sc., joined, along with the head of the technical department, Ing. Štefan Konečný, Ph.D., the head of the sales department, Ing. Marko Štofan, the head of the assembly department, Ing. Jaroslav Romanovský, and the former general director, Ing. Peter Šiovič, Ph.D., who honored the booth with his visit.
The exact number of clients, visitors, or potential customers who kept our sales staff busy during the three intense days is probably something no one can tell you. However, the fatigue of each team member upon returning to their hotel room speaks volumes. It is impossible to rate the December exhibition in Germany as anything other than successful, where visitors to the exhibition booth in Hall 3, number A78, could view the latest technological achievements of our company, discuss business conditions, or simply visit their business partners for a chat. In Düsseldorf, our company presented the new part-turn electric actuator MPR 6, the compact part-turn electric actuator UP 0-Ex, designed for use in explosive environments, and the linear electric actuator STR 0.1PA with safety emergency function (SCAP). This year's specialty was the electric linear actuator with a control valve, where interested parties could try out the new intelligent electronics allowing variable motor speed changes at different voltage levels. The exact technical specifications, as well as a closer description of the novelties, will be left for further posts in this blog category.
Preparations for undoubtedly the largest and most important international event in the industrial automation industry began in our company during the summer months. The intensity of preparations of all kinds, from ordering business cards, creating presentation products, to ensuring logistics and suppliers, will be confirmed by every involved team member. Due to various circumstances, I was personally unable to attend the Valve World Expo 2024, but as the head of the marketing department, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed and helped organize another successful, professional, and dignified representation of Regada at the international forum.
